Trained professionally in the Indian Classical dance form Kathak for over seventeen years, Ridhima holds Graduate and Post Graduate Degrees from Kathak Kendra (National Institute for Kathak and a constituent unit of Sangeet Natak Akademi, Delhi). Ridhima is a graded artist of  Doordarshan and also a scholarship holder from the Ministry of Culture and Sahitya Kala Parishad. She holds an M.A. from the Khairagarh University as well.

            Ridhima began her training at the age of 9 in Kathak Kendra under the tutelage of Kathak exponent Smt. Malti Shyam, where she studied her Foundation and Diploma Courses. She then continued her advanced level training under Pt. Deepak Maharaj and finally her Honours and Post graduation under the eminent Guru Pt. Jai Kishan Maharaj (sons of Padma Vibhushan Pandit Birju Maharaj). Her advanced training in Kathak also included training in Yoga, Tabla and Hindustani Classical Vocal where she was awarded with scholarship by Sangeet Natak Akademi for outstanding performance. She has performed extensively in many Festivals in India as well as abroad and has represented India in many International dance festivals in various countries through ICCR. She is also trained in Hindustani Classical Vocal in which she holds Sangeet Visharad from Prayag Sangeet Samiti and Pracheen Kala Kendra.

             Ridhima also pursues Theatre professionally. As an actor, she did her first play at the age of ten and since then she has performed lead roles in the productions of many theatre groups and eminent directors including Shri Prem Matiyani, Shri Lokendra Trivedi and Shri Suresh Sharma (Director, NSD). She has also performed in prestigious theatre festivals including Bharat Rang Mahotsava (NSD), Chaar Rang by the Hindi Academy and Theatre festival by Sahitya Kala Parishad. Ridhima is also an approved Drama artist from All India Radio, Delhi.

          Her academic qualifications include B.COM Honours and M.COM from the Delhi University. Her dedication and passion to create and perform is undying.
